About this topic

A landed price is made of three parts: the trailer, the freight, and the port and clearance costs. This section explains each one, what is included under EXW, FOB and CIF, how trailers are actually loaded for export, and which payment terms protect your deposit while the order is being built.

Who it is for: buyers building a budget, finance teams checking what a quotation actually includes, and operators comparing freight options to the same port.

Common questions about this topic

How much does a semi-trailer cost from China?

Price depends on the trailer type, axle count, payload rating, component brands and order quantity. Send your specification and we return a factory price with the configuration itemised.

Is shipping included in the price?

Prices are quoted EXW, FOB or CIF depending on the terms you choose. FOB covers delivery to the Chinese port, while CIF adds sea freight and insurance to your destination port.

How are semi-trailers shipped?

Most trailers ship on flat rack or by breakbulk, and some models ship by Ro-Ro. Larger orders can be shipped knocked down with several units stacked to reduce freight cost per unit.

How long does shipping take?

Transit time depends on your destination port and the shipping line schedule. We confirm the estimated sailing and arrival dates with your quotation.

What payment terms do you accept?

We accept T/T with a deposit before production and the balance before shipment, and can discuss letter of credit terms for larger orders.

Still deciding what you need?

Send your route, payload and axle preference. We reply with drawings and a factory price.
