About this Superlink Semi-Trailer

Our Superlink (interlink) trailer couples two semi-trailer units behind one tractor for the highest legal payload per trip. Built in Liangshan — China's trailer manufacturing hub — every unit is engineered to meet the road, dimension and axle-load regulations of your destination country, so it is legal to register and operate on local highways.

A-train (drawbar + dolly) or B-double (fifth-wheel) formats, flatbed, skeleton, side-tipper or tanker units are all available per your market.

Other Common Sizes & Configurations

Beyond the standard build, we make these Superlink Semi-Trailer variants to match different cargo and local road rules — all sizes, axle counts and capacities listed above are configurable to your specification:

  • Two 12–13 m units — 2+2 / 2+3 / 3+3 axle; common A-train
  • ~25 m train — with tractor, market dependent
  • Flatbed / Skeleton units — containers and general cargo
  • Side-tipper units — bulk double trains
  • B-double (some markets) — fifth-wheel linked

How the Superlink Semi-Trailer Compares

Not sure which trailer type fits your cargo? Here is how the Superlink Semi-Trailer differs from close alternatives.

vs Flatbed Semi-Trailer

Superlink is two coupled units for double payload; the Flatbed Semi-Trailer is a single unit for standard loads.

vs Lowbed Semi-Trailer

Superlink maximises volume of general cargo; the Lowbed Semi-Trailer carries one oversized machine on a low deck.

vs Skeletal Semi-Trailer

Superlink can pair skeleton units for container volume; a single Skeletal Semi-Trailer carries one box length.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the lead time for a Superlink Semi-Trailer?
Standard configurations ship in 40–60 days; B-double or specialised units may take longer. We confirm the exact date in the proforma invoice.
Do you handle shipping to my country?
Yes. We ship FOB Qingdao or CIF to major ports in Africa, the Middle East and South America, and can arrange container, RORO or bulk shipment.
Can the trailer be customized?
Yes. A-train vs B-double, unit type (flatbed/skeleton/tipper/tank), axle count and length are all adjustable to your market.
What is the difference between a Superlink and a standard semi-trailer?
A Superlink couples two units for roughly double payload; a standard semi-trailer is one unit behind the tractor.
A-train or B-double?
A-train uses a drawbar dolly (flexible, harder to reverse); B-double links at the fifth wheel (stable, market-specific length rules).
How much can a Superlink carry?
Common A-train builds move 40–80 t across the two units; we match axle count and load to your road rules.
Is a Superlink legal everywhere?
No — double-trailer combinations are restricted in many markets. We engineer the train to the length and axle rules of your destination country before shipment.
Is the Superlink legal for road use?
Every unit is engineered to meet the length, axle-load and GVW limits of your destination country's road regulations. We confirm the configuration against your local rules before shipment.
Which suspension is better — mechanical or air?
Mechanical leaf is the rugged default for bulk; air ride is optional for smoother, protected cargo.
