Frequently asked questions
What types of semi-trailers does Shuyue build?
We build the 15 main semi-trailer types, including lowbed, flatbed, dump and tipper, skeletal container chassis, fuel tankers, cement bulkers, side wall, fence, curtain side, car carriers and concrete mixer bodies. Each type is configurable by axle count, payload and dimensions.
Can a semi-trailer be built to my country's axle load rules?
Yes. Axle count, suspension type and frame strength are specified to match the axle load and dimension limits of the country you operate in, including ECOWAS rules in West Africa.
What information do you need to quote a semi-trailer?
The trailer type, payload, axle count, your tractor's fifth wheel height and kingpin size, the destination port, and the number of units. Drawings and a factory price follow once the specification is confirmed.
How long does it take to build and ship a trailer?
Production time depends on the trailer type and order quantity, and sea freight time depends on your destination port. Both dates are confirmed in writing with your quotation.
Do you ship to Nigeria and other West African ports?
Yes. We ship to Lagos and other West African ports, and can also quote to East Africa, the Gulf and South America. Send your destination port with your enquiry.
What support do you provide after delivery?
We supply wear parts and spare parts for the trailers we build, share a maintenance schedule with each shipment, and answer technical questions by WhatsApp or email after your trailers land.
Need a specific trailer spec?
Send your route, payload and axle preference. We reply with drawings and a factory price.
