5-Axle Flatbed Semi-Trailer

5-axle flatbed semi-trailer engineered for heavy and oversized cargo with maximised legal payload.
Axle: 5 Axle
Payload: 60,000–80,000 kg

Overview

The 5-Axle Flatbed Semi-Trailer is the heavy-haul variant of the flatbed platform, adding two extra axles to spread the load for legal operation with oversized and high-density cargo. The reinforced main beam and wider bogie spacing keep deck height low while supporting up to ~80 t, making it the workhorse for steel mills, wind-turbine components, large pipe and project cargo.

  • 5-axle configuration, up to ~60–80 t rated payload
  • 12,500–13,000 × 2,500 mm flat deck, low loading height
  • Reinforced Q345 main beam with extra axle lines for weight distribution
  • 12R22.5 tires on 13T FUWA/BPW axles, mechanical leaf-spring suspension
  • JOST 2″ / 3.5″ bolted kingpin, container twist locks optional
  • Built for steel, machinery and project (out-of-gauge) cargo

Frequently Asked Questions

What axle configurations are available?
We supply 2, 3, 4 and 5-axle configurations across the range. Axle count and spacing are customised to your payload, local axle-weight law and tyre specification.
Can the curtain or body be branded?
Yes. Side curtains, box bodies and rear doors can carry your logo and livery. Send us your artwork (vector preferred) and we will confirm the print area and colour limits.
What is the typical lead time?
Standard configurations ship in 25–40 days ex-works. Custom or certified builds may take longer; we confirm a firm date in the proforma invoice before production starts.
Do you provide a Certificate of Conformity?
Yes. Every trailer leaves with a Certificate of Conformity, test report and, where required, EN 12642-XL or ADR documentation for registration in the destination country.
Can the trailer be customised?
Absolutely. Axle brand, suspension type, kingpin height, tyre size, floor material and paint colour are all selectable. Tell us the operating condition and we will propose a build.
What about suspension and braking?
We fit air or mechanical suspension to suit your road and load profile, with WABCO or equivalent ABS/EBS braking and an optional lift axle to cut tyre wear when running empty.
How are shipping and export documents handled?
We handle container or Ro-Ro shipment and supply the commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading and certificate of origin. Our freight forwarders cover major ports worldwide.
