Client Visit: Sani from Lagos Tours Shuyue's Semi Trailer Factory in Liangshan
On 17 June 2025, Mr. Sani — owner of a Lagos-based logistics company — toured Shuyue's newly built tank trailer line at the Liangshan plant and signed a contract on site for two 3-axle liquid fuel semi-trailers. Both units were dispatched in August 2025 to Apapa Port, Lagos.

About the visitor
Mr. Sani runs a Lagos-based logistics company whose fleet handles petroleum and refined-fuel distribution across southern Nigeria — moving product between Apapa and the tank farms in the Lagos metropolitan area, and onward to inland depots serving the northern corridors.
Why Mr. Sani came to Liangshan
With rising demand for PMS (gasoline) and AGO (diesel) haulage, Mr. Sani was actively evaluating trailer manufacturers that could demonstrate weld quality under sustained high-temperature operation and supply tanks rated for the duty cycles typical of Nigerian highway routes, including the long Lagos–Abuja and Lagos–Kano runs. Catalog photos and remote video calls were not enough for a fleet decision of this size, so he flew in to inspect a tank trailer production line built specifically for those requirements.
The walk-through covered the full build sequence — cylinder forming in the welding bays, head-forming on the spinning line, final assembly under overhead crane B-09, and a hydrostatic test rig demonstration for fuel-tank shells. Shop-floor safety signage and steel-grade certificates were reviewed on the spot, and the engineering team walked him through valve placement, emergency cut-off locations and the BPW axle rating that matched his prime mover's king-pin position.
By the end of the day Mr. Sani had confirmed specifications for his fleet and signed a contract on site for two 3-axle liquid fuel semi-trailers, with the dispatch date scheduled for August 2025.

What Mr. Sani checked during the visit
- Shell thickness & material. Inspected cylinder forming and weld seams; verified suitability for PMS (gasoline) and AGO (diesel) service, and asked for the steel grade certificate and ultrasonic thickness report to be attached to the build file.
- High-temperature operation. Asked about thermal performance on long Lagos–northern Nigeria routes under sustained heat, including pressure-relief valve behaviour and how the inner coating handles elevated product temperature.
- Spare-parts reach. Discussed the stocking plan for valves, manhole covers and pump components through our after-sales network in West Africa, with target response time and which parts can be air-freighted on short notice.
- Axle & suspension setup. Reviewed the 3-axle configuration against Nigerian axle-load rules and road conditions, including the BPW axle rating, leaf-spring pack count and the king-pin position for the prime mover he operates.
- Pre-shipment inspection & certification. Walked through our QC checklist for hydrostatic test, paint thickness, brake-system certification and the document set required for SONCAP and Apapa customs pre-arrival.
